Glencore PLC (GLENxlon) is a Swiss-headquartered multinational commodity trading and mining company, listed in London and Johannesburg. The company produces and markets a wide range of metals and minerals (including copper, cobalt, zinc, nickel, ferroalloys and lead) and energy products (including coal and oil), with industrial assets in around 35 countries. Glencore's marketing business trades commodities globally on behalf of producers and consumers. It is a major constituent of the FTSE 100 index on the London Stock Exchange. Glencore is one of the world's largest natural-resource companies by revenue and a key supplier of metals critical to electrification and the energy transition.
