 BP PLC (BPxlon) is a British multinational oil and gas company headquartered in London. The company is active across the energy value chain, including oil and gas exploration and production, refining, trading, marketing of fuels and lubricants (including the Castrol brand), and a growing portfolio of low-carbon businesses such as bioenergy, EV charging, hydrogen and renewable power. BP operates a global network of around 21,000 retail sites and serves customers in more than 60 countries. It is a major constituent of the FTSE 100 index on the London Stock Exchange and is also listed on the NYSE. BP is one of the largest energy companies in the world by revenue.
